IDGAFOS: LA, Dillon is Coming for You, and Bringing a Gang of Friends
A donut, “rave daddy” and DJ Hanzel. Not only is he all three of these things but imagine three whole days with the globally known producer himself. Yes you got it right, I am talking about the incredible artist Dillon Francis and his wild holiday weekend in Los Angeles on December 17th – 19th. The fourth annual IDAGOFS weekend is being held at the Shrine Expo Center and is sure to bring fans in the masses. But it’s not just Dillon Francis alone for all three days and not an average event, every day is a different group of artists and a uniquely fun theme to keep the crowd raging all night.
After the release of This Mixtape is Fire it seemed like Dillon Francis is on an EDM reign and cannot be stopped. He’s traveled globally, made a few surprise appearances like at the sold out GTA show in Los Angeles and even has his own “Deeper Talk” videos as DJ Hanzel to promote IDGAFOS. But in order to actually comprehend the intensity of his weekend at the Shrine we have to break it down by the days. Day one is Thursday the 17th and the theme is Arts & Crafts Night. Knowing the imaginative side of Dillon, this night is sure to live up to its name and fans will feel like their walking into an adult summer camp. On this night special guests include rapper T-Pain, trap and hip-hop master Valentino Khan, Australian dance producer Anna Lunoe and electronic artist NeoFresco. Each one of these creative artists bring a different unique flare to the night and it creates this amazing arrangement of sound for the first evening.
Day two is Friday the 18th and the theme is Letter Party night, literally letters. Everyone go dressed up as their favorite alphabet letter and watch as he recreates Kindergarten with dancing letters or maybe just even people dressed up as IDGAFOS. Are you ready for the club to go up on a Friday because on this night the creator of that hit ILoveMakonnen will be preforming along with Houston raised dance producer Ape Drums and the incredible Stooki Sound.
Day three, the final day is Saturday the 19th and definitely provides the Christmas spirit with the theme Ugly Sweater Night. So for those of you that has that one sweater grandma knitted years ago hiding in your closet because of embarrassment; it’s time to dust it off and bring it to the shrine and show your grandma some love at IDGAFOS. On this night the insane trap sounds from Party Favor will sure to wake the streets of Los Angeles and coming from the big city of NY, Branchez is going to be there blowing the speakers with his electronic bass. Along with these two artists, Nadastrom will be there to provide the evening with some trippy tunes. Dillon Francis and his team know how to throw a party and this 4th annual IDGAFOS weekend celebration will undeniably prove it. If the themes alone don’t make your heart jump with excitement then each night with every astounding artist should. It’s a weekend to not give a care for anything and a weekend to kick off the holidays right. So why wouldn’t you want to break out that ugly sweater or relieve the glory days of summer camp with Dillon Francis?
IDGAFOS is going to be the most memorable holiday experience especially with the raging bass and nonstop dancing that’s going to occur. Buy your tickets soon before they sell out and keep watching “Deeper talks” with DJ Hanzel for more insight on the artists preforming.
