Sasquatch!: 2015 Lineup Announced

SASQUATCH!! It is such a fun word to say out loud and even better when you are saying it inside of an incredible scenic venue in the Columbia River Gorge in Quincy, WA. This epic event is known as the Sasquatch! Music Festival, founded by Adam Zacks in 2002. This festival, sponsored by Budlight will be over Memorial Day weekend and will be FOUR days of incredible musical talent from all sorts of acts, it’s definitely going to be an entertaining yet exciting weekend.

The lineup, which is a hefty mixture of talent from all sorts of acts shows that there is not only a little something for everyone but it is also a chance to catch all the genre’s you love. Some amazing EDM talent will be there this year, including the ever so talented Flume, Odesza, The Knocks and The Glitch Mob to name a few. Not to mention a fan favorite and the funksters themselves Chromeo.

Yet one of the best parts about this type of festival is all the amazing new talent you may not have heard yet. This is when artists such as SBTRKT and Slow Magic rise into the scene. Different take on the electronic music scene but just as equally entertaining and talented. Checking out some of the non-mainstream artists are essential in festivals such as Sasquatch. Someone that you may check out at the beginning of this year may very well be headlining their own tour by the end of the year.

Also a great addition to Sasquatch is the large amount of singers and MCs to grace the stages. Action Bronson is phenomenal at a live show and Kendrick Lamar is known to get the crowd hyped at any moment. Modest Mouse, which you cannot help but to bounce along to their infectious tunes and Lana Del Rey’s beautiful voice will easily calm you into a relaxation mode.

A great act to see if you have the time during this festival would be Shaprece, as her soulful sound can lock you into a mesmerizing trance. Not to mention the comedy acts that will be stopping by to give you some laughs including Doug Benson, Leslie Jones and Nick Thune. This festival is one that is going to be memorable in so many ways and a great way to spend four days during Memorial Day weekend!
