Basstracks: Good Love EP

The emerging Brooklyn duo of Ivan Jackson and Conor Rayne released their new ‘Good Love EP’ on August 19. These two musicians are anything but ‘no name’ artists. Brasstracks is most famous for their work in Chance the Rapper’s wildly successful ‘Coloring Book’ album. They collaborated with GRiZ and Eric Krasno of Lettuce to make ‘Gotta Push On’ on GRiZ’s album, Good Will Prevail.’ Brasstracks has recently played a phenomenal show with GRiZ on his second visit to Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

The contributing artists on the album are not left out of any song. The sound of their upbeat tempo with percussion and brass is impeccable to the ears of listeners. S’natra, a rapper on the album, spits his way through ‘Lemme Put This Cup Down’ with the help of Alexander Lewis. Adding to the vocal perfection, Masego belts out the soul of the album in ‘Melanin Man.’

Brasstracks is currently touring around the Northeast, Midwest and Northwest America over the next month. These guys are definitely worth checking out.
