EDC New York: Insomniac Drops Lineup for Memorial Day Weekend Event
Memorial Day weekend this year seems to be a weekend solely dedicated to EDM fans. So many awesome festivals announced that they will be taking place over the holiday and it’s a very difficult decision to figure out which one to choose. If you’re still on the fence about where to go, perhaps the news of the EDC New York lineup will finally give you some peace about where you are headed. It just did for me.
Insomniac did a great job at putting this lineup together and I can only imagine the things that will be waiting inside of the venue for the festival goers. This year some of the hottest acts are going to be there not to mention a bit of everything for everyone.
Some of the DJ’s that will be at EDC New York had a busy last year with multiple hits. Bassnectar released his Noise vs. Beauty album, Oliver Heldens took house to another level and The Magician created a song where none of us could stop smiling the minute we heard it. Knife Party also released a new album, which showed us they are able to deliver great hits in multiple genres and I am still playing Route 94’s “My Love” constantly throughout the week.
Also don’t forget that while you may not know some of the artists at EDC, you should take the chance to check out their set as there is a reason why they were picked to perform at such an event. Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Nicholas Matar, Get Real & Motez will all get you dancing no matter what time of day they are performing. Once again this year its going to be a pretty solid event and I suggest to get your tickets soon, as this one always has a chance of selling out.
