Marshmello Surprises Fans with 'Oops' Remix
Marshmello dropped yet another banger this past weekend at Ultra Music Festival Singapore. The world renowned DJ and Producer has been in the spotlight lately, with the success of his original mix Alone that dropped a few months ago, the announcement of his 2016-17 US tour and now his remix of Martin Garrix’s original track 'Oops'.
Ultra Music Festival made its way to Singapore for the first time September 10th and 11th. The two-day event took place at Singapore’s most famous landmark, the Marina Bay Sands hotel. The festival hosted 45,000 people and had headliners such as deadmau5, Alesso, DJ Snake, Kygo and more. The full Singapore lineup can be seen here.
Marshmello took the main stage Sunday September 11, performing a lot of his own work and adding in a few future-bass inspired tracks. He surprised fans by name dropping Martin Garrix and premiering his remix of Garrix’s track 'Oops'. Garrix released Oops on June 13th, and it has already reached 1.9 million listens on SoundCloud with over 63 thousand likes. The remix is similar to Marshmello’s recent work with his combination of high pitched synth and growling bass synth. Fans reacted well to the remix, in just three days in has thousands of views on Youtube with hundreds of supportive fan comments.
