Nocturnal Wonderland: Insomniac WOWs With Impressive Lineup
We're less than a month away from the 20th Anniversary of Nocturnal Wonderland and the hype is all too real. With an extended 3 day festival which boast 5 stages, a colossal amount of added camping, and its own water park, Nocturnal is looking to blow us out of the water. However All frills and production aside, the thing that has us jazzed up more than anything is the enormous and diverse line-up.
Festival heavyweights Afrojack, David Guetta, Galantis and Armin Van Buuren are sure to draw colossal crows to the main stage, but no headliner will pull more than the Legend himself, Kaskade. Fresh off a new album and tour announcement, Kaskade is set for a huge performance. Drawing close to 100,000 festival goers at Coachella, Kaskade looks to bring the same energy to the San Manuel grounds.
However, getting away from the festival giants, there is still so much depth to this line up. Returning to San Manuel is the Bassrush experience which will host names like G Jones, Datsik, Kennedy Jones and Snails. Nocturnal has even booked the king of bass music, Bassnectar. Lorin takes the stage on Sunday, and will cap off Nocturnal Wonderland with what might be the can't miss set of the weekend. Hometown favorites Slander will also play a main stage set on Sunday, one year after they were asked to pull a double (Their original set, and filling in for a late Nicky Romero) at last years Nocturnal Wonderland. Last years Nocturnal Wonderland was their festival debut, so expect Slander to bring the heat for this years reunion.
If you're looking to diversify your festival experience, Saturday, J Phlip will be spinning an incredible house set that is guaranteed to keep you shuffling start to finish. Also on Saturday, DJ Jazzy Jeff will be kicking back old school hip hop tunes in a throwback set that will have you singing along to every song. As if Saturday couldn't get any better, Pretty Lights will play a rare festival appearance for the ages.
The line up is almost too deep to ramble on about, from Melbourne bounce favorites Deorro and Will Sparks, to Flosstradamus and Yellow Claw who will burn the house down, to Knife Party and Keys and Krates. This lineup has a little bit of everything, and a lot of amazing talent. With a line up like this and the top notch production insomniac brings, Nocturnal Wonderland's 20th anniversary is sure to be one of the best festivals of the year.
