Snowglobe: Festival Announces Lineup for 3rd Annual Event
It looks like this year’s Snowglobe Music Festival lineup will, yet again, provide the fire to keep you warm this New Years. Each year, the Snowglobe faithful brave the elements to enjoy one amazing experience deep in the Tahoe mountains -- and this year is no different. The Snowglobe lineup and production grows astonishingly from year to year. If its recently released lineup tells us anything: it’s that Snowglobe 2016 will be the number one place to celebrate the new year on the West Coast.
Earlier this week, Snowglobe released its lineup, and it was massive! The small town, populated by just over 21,000 locals will host headliners Jack U, Chet Faker, and Dillon Francis. But just as impressive as the headliners, were the names on the lower part of the card. Galantis, Eric Prydz, Alison Wonderland, and Cashmere Cat while all huge names, are just a glance at how diverse this festival lineup is. Joining them on the hip hop front is Bay Area favorite E-40 as well as youtube sensation turned respected rapper, Lil Dicky. Other support includes future bass savant Vanic, Dirtybird representatives J. Phlip and Claude Von Stroke, trop house favorite Autograf, and trap up and comer Nghtmre.
But, alas, Snowglobe just couldn’t be done yet. The day after the lineup was released, Snowglobe uploaded a hype video with an added headliner. All artists on the card were included, but joining them was the EDM legend himself, Kaskade. This addition to an already stacked lineup solidified Snowglobe as a can't miss event for your new years experience. Tickets are still available, and you should definitely swoop some up for a new year celebration in the beautiful hills of Tahoe under viridescent pine trees and slow-falling snowflakes.
