Exclusive Interview: NIGHTOWLS

In and out of the studio electronic duo, NIGHTOWLS, never ceases to impress, and this was sure to be true for their 2016 Bass Camp Festival main stage performance. NIGHTOWLS, who made their stellar debut in the dance music scene in 2015 continues to grow and inspire daily. From huge releases on labels such as Interscope & Buygore, the pair always manages to excite fans.

Currently residing in Los Angeles the duo boasts a stellar work ethic, in and out of the studio, with their producing skills and Djing techniques always at top notch. Made up of Andrew Sierra & Scotty Dro, the team has successfully created a sound that sweeps through the underground scene and main stage. With an addictive persona, and personable attitudes these boys definitely have love for their fans. I was able to catch up with the pair at Bass Camp Festival for a memorable interview and set, including Krewella dedicating their song 'Alive' to Scotty's brother who recently passed. Check the interview below for all things NIGHTOWLS and upcoming projects.

Show Review: Bass Camp Festival

Bass Camp Festivaltook over South Lake Tahoe from August 6-7 to provide attendees with bass, unity, and so much more. Anyone who has ever been to Lake Tahoe knows it's one of the most beautiful gems nestled on the California and Nevada border. During the summer, the sun shines through the tall pines and the lake becomes home to tons of water activities, making it the perfect location for the annual Bass Camp Festival.

The grounds of the recently renovated Hard Rock Hotel and Casino paired perfectly with the intimate vibes set forth by the Bass Camp Crew. With huge headliners such as NeroKrewella, and Arty, it was no surprise that the venue was comfortably packed with attendees of all ages, showing that the love of music really has no age limit. In addition to the main stage, the Dancetronauts who have been at festivals such as Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas to Burning Man and hundreds of stops in between, brought their party and pyrotechnics to create a stage of their own. With a silent disco, and a surprise Red Bull stage on the second day, Bass Camp Festival brought a stellar weekend to festival goers.
