Woogie Weekend: SO Much Room for Activities
If you loved Lightning in a Bottle, or wished you would have been there but haven’t bought a ticket to Woogie Weekend yet, get ready to feel the need to get tickets because Woogie Weekend just shared with us the activities that will be just as big of a part of the festival as the musical acts.
Bijoulette will be bringing… wait for it… a slip n’ slide. And not just any family owned slip n’ slide; this whimsical plush interactive cool-down space will be a place to experience the Southern California Bijoutlette who have dazzled crowds from Costa Rica to Los Angeles with their creative clowning, wonky wardrobe, and out of this world stage performance.
Throughout the weekend, festival goers can watch art evolve right before their eyes at Oak Canyon Park. Do ArT Foundation will be bringing many of it’s favorite artists with a variety of visions to live draw, paint, and show their digital graphics to embrace spirituality, dive into modern social and cultural ideology, and so much more.
Woogie Weekend will also be welcoming back expert yogis and instructors from LiB including Gianna DeFlice, the woman who hand-crafted the yoga lineup for LiB 2012. There will be morning yoga classes for those that are beginners to experienced yogis each day. Joining DeFlice, are Lightning in a Bottle favorites Kishan Shah, who blends ancient Eastern and modern Western styles, and Shawni, and NYC based Tony Guliano, founder of the Meditate Study Practice program.
Lastly, one lucky fan will win the opportunity to receive an ultimate Woogie Weekend experience including: an exclusive meet-and-greet with Spain’s Pig & Dan! In addition to the Full Weekend Pass, the winner can bounce around backstage and lounge in the shade with private bars, bathrooms, preferred parking, a reusable Woogie Weekend water bottle and a sweet new SubPac S2. Everyone who enters will receive a special download link for the latest Woogie Warmup Promo Mix featuring Pig & Dan upon signing up. Enter the contest here - the winner will be announced next Wednesday, July 14th.
Returning to Lightning in a Bottle’s 2010-2012 venue, Do LaB’s newest festival incarnation, Woogie Weekend, takes place July 17-19, 2015 and is conveniently located in Orange County, between Los Angeles and San Diego at Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, CA.
