As you all know the political race was narrowed down to two candidates, technically three but if you’ve been keeping up with John Oliver you’d know Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson was more preoccupied with Mount Everest than the election(link to Johnson’s mountain fetish can be found here). It was narrowed to Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, and with 279 electoral votes Donald Trump became the President elect.
