EDC Las Vegas: 2015 Lineup Announcement
The EDC Las Vegas 2015 Lineup is finally here and it is massive! Since it’s inauguration in 1997, The Electric Daisy Festival has just consistently grown and have made some incredible strides along the way to the NOW. Pasquale Rotella, the frontman of all of this, has really pulled out all the stops to make this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas the best one yet. EDC has spread across the globe like wildfire to places such as California, New York, Puerto Rico, Mexico and the UK, but they still save their best and most prominent for Sin City.
The lineup this year may hands down be the best EDM festival lineup of 2015 as it is diverse and brings together all different branches of the EDM genre tree. Overall the lineup is massive and it is even starting to make me reconsider my plans for that weekend. Here is everyone who will be rocking under the electric sky in Las Vegas in alphabetical order and please forgive the length, blame Insomniac.

Whew! That was a long list of talent. That roster is more talented the the 2000 Los Angeles Lakers, but there are a few certain names that stick out right away to me. For starters, the names like Disclosure, Flume & Duke Dumont are not regularly known for working alongside Insomniac and it should be interesting to see their performances. On top of that Disclosure has a new album up their sleeve and may be teasing some of it at this massive festival. Other names that stand out and are must sees at such an event are Above & Beyond, Afrojack, Alesso, Avicii, Calvin Harris, Deorro, DJ Snake, Galantis, Kaskade, Martin Garrix, Martin Solveig, Showtek, Steve Angello, and of course Tiesto. All of those names seem to be the mega headliners and who really will be there to put on an unforgettable experience for all EDC goers. LAST but NOT LEAST is DJ Jazzy Jeff, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air righthand man. He is a legend who has worked with R&B & Hip Hop artists and producers for over 25 years now and I believe this is Insomniac reaching out and diversifying their lineups and acts and creating a balance in their festival, which I give kudos for such an attempt.
This year’s EDC Las Vegas will be one to remember as you can’t go wrong with whoever you see and however you spend your time under the electric sky. Insomniacdid not fail to disappoint and we could have seen this coming after an impressive EDC New York lineup. I have never been to an Insomniac event and shame on me, but with their continuous evolution of lineups and festival diversity, I believe it is time to attend one of their events, and what better way to start than with EDC Las Vegas? If you aren’t going, find a way to go. If you can’t go you can stream it live through Yahoo! Live which is powered by 7x7UP. Either way you should find a way to see it, and enjoy it from that point of view because I believe it will still be excellent either way. Thanks Insomniac for continuing to surprise me and I think many others as well. EDC Las Vegas 2015 is HERE!
